About New Years Resolutions: To those who make resolutions, You don't need a new year to make changes. The reason I don't make New Year resolutions is that when I do and mess up I think "Oh crap there goes my promise to myself, guess I don't have to start over until next year", easy out eh? So now I just make the changes when my mind is made up (New Year or not). I find that my goal is successfully reached when my mind is committed not when I have just been through a month of holiday stress.

On Being Special Am I Special? A Princess? God's Gift? Thinking about all the "special" people in my life. Are they the ones that must have your full and undying devotion and attention? The ones who must have everything go their way? The ones who need SPECIAL attention all the time? It's not their world, everyone else is just as special as they are. We really aren't "special" we are all just people trying to survive. To consider someone special means that others are not. Everyone deserves to be treated well (special). Here's the irony, the ones who are "special" are the ones who are never recognized as such. LCJ Mark 9:35...“Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”
